DPI GLOBAL Awards 2025 Kendal Thompson Memorial Scholarships

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (April 11, 2025) — DPI GLOBAL is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Kendal Thompson Memorial Scholarship, honoring the legacy of a respected team member and lifelong advocate for agricultural education.
This year’s $1,000 scholarships were awarded to Ashley Schriever of Philip and Caden Phelps of Arlington. One scholarship supports a student attending a two-year college, and the other supports a student at a four-year institution, each pursuing careers in agriculture.
The Kendal Thompson Memorial Scholarship was established to recognize Thompson’s deep commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders. A former FFA advisor and dedicated member of the DPI GLOBAL team, Thompson played a key role in launching leadership programs and educational initiatives, including the first South Dakota FFA Leadership Camp and the renovation of the Ag Adventure Center at the South Dakota State Fair.
The 2025 scholarships were presented by Kendal’s son, Dan Thompson, continuing the family’s dedication to education and service in agriculture.
