MICRO-SHIELD™ combines select botanical elements to deliver research-proven saponin and polyphenol technology for a one-two punch! The saponins within MICRO-SHIELD™ have antimicrobial properties and can reduce intestinal and aerial ammonia. The polyphenols in MICRO-SHIELD™ possess antioxidant, immunostimulatory and animal health promoting properties.
Recently conducted research at Southern Poultry Feed & Research of Athens, GA, USA confirm MICRO-SHIELD’s™ effectiveness at improving broiler weight gain and feed efficiency and reducing broiler mortality.
MICRO-SHIELD™ is available as a dry (90% DM) product. Titration research showed an optimal inclusion rate of 500 ppm (1.0 lb./ton of complete feed) throughout the entire broiler life cycle. MICRO-SHIELD™ can be combined with medicated feed additives.
